Where Denmark ends, on the north beach on Grenen, the landscape and weather are very expressive and therefore unique. You are alone on this beach between drifting sand, mist, wind and sea. This nature captures the hiker and in the vastness of this landscape between the seas that meet here, space and time are lost. Our thoughts are free there and we let ourselves drift. We are usually not looking for anything concrete, but float lightly and freely, feeling safe and secure. With its soft, free surfaces in delicately graded nuances of blue and sand tones, this painting gives the viewer the opportunity to immerse themselves in the mood described and embark on their own journey of thought. The very light and delicate blue tones of this almost monochrome work have a very calming effect and the formless style of painting opens the perception into the boundless.
