Picture "arc bleu" (2025)
For me, the creative process of painting is always a journey into the unknown. I have a vague idea of the path in advance, but the concrete destination only emerges at the end of the process. In "arc bleu", I wanted to find out more about the contrast and juxtaposed pastel color zones with dark blue color areas. I repeated this process in several layers to achieve depth and to intensify the interaction of white, the pastel tones and the dark blue arc. Again and again I rearranged the shapes and colors until the desired exciting yet harmonious order was achieved. The painting appears open and friendly and stimulates the viewer's imagination. The abstract style of painting leaves room for thoughts and dreams, both as a whole and in every detail.
