In my painting I create my own authentic worlds, closed environments that have their own rules and tendencies, sometimes imagined in advance, sometimes created by chance, sometimes both and all as the consequence of the events I experience every day.
The things that directly influence my work today are all around us, in nature and in people. I am glad that I have had the opportunity to live in many different places, to be in direct contact with different cultures and languages. All the chaos of this world, which actually tends towards mediocrity, encourages the creation of harmony, the search for the real and the unreal, the meaningful and the meaningless. This inspires me and opens up new spaces for my work and my thoughts.
I try to fill the space in my pictures with different activities, with details of certain events, memories, signs and symbols... I create my authentic world.
