- Studied natural sciences with diploma/doctorate, worked in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Spent many years abroad in the USA, Switzerland and the Netherlands.
- Working as a freelance artist in Düsseldorf since 2007. Sponsored artist of the city of Düsseldorf.

- Diploma Free Academy for Painting, Düsseldorf, 2019 with Jens Kilian
- Further training with Prof. Markus Lüpertz (since 2018) at the Academy of Fine Arts, Kolbermoor,
- Seminars/workshops with Prof. Qi-Yang, Michiel Hertroys/NL, Axel C. Gross, Hetty Krist and others.
